Agency, Iowa - Carrie E. Mourer, 83, died at 5:55 a.m. today at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Ottwmwa.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Campbell Funeral Home in Eldon. Burial will be in Friends Cemetary in Richland. Amemorial has been established at the People’s Church in Batavia.
Mrs. Mourer was bone Octiber 26, 1898 in Keokuck County, the daughter of Issac and Adda Morrow Gonder and had lived most of her life including the last 46 years in Wappelo County. She married Oscar Mourer August 30, 1917 in Fairfield. He died August 30, 1976.
Survinving are five daughters, Wanda Brewington of Batavia, Thelma Ames of Long Beach, CA, Janette Courtney of Eldon, Mirthel Mourer of Douds, Alice Kelch of El Cajhon, CA, tow sons, Willare of Batavia, Boyd of Agency; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; three great-great grand children and one sister Mirthel Bjork of Fairfiled.
