OBITUARY OF MYRTLE BLANCHE CARRUTH LOFFIS
LANDR'UM--Myrde B. Loftis, 68, wife of Fred Loftis, Route 3, died Friday
morning at the home after a brief illness.

Native of the Fairview community; daughter of the late Elford & Harriett Turner Carruth; employed by Landnxn Mills; member of Gowensville Baptist Church.

Also surviving: daughters, Mrs. Joyce Spake of Inman, Mrs. Ruth Weaver of
Chesnee, Mrs. Libby Vatalaro of Sumter; sons, Charles and Carroll (Cotton)
Loffis of Landnun; sister, Mrs. Irene Walker of Landrum; brothers, Leroy and
Sam Carnith of Landrum; five grandchildren,

Services Sunday at Gowensville Baptist Church by the Revs. Harold Tbompson, Boyd Turner, and Faye Lanford; burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Nephews will be pa Ilbearers.
Family vall receive friends 7 to 9 tonight at Petty Funeral Home, Landrum.
