Charles was master of Landrum Masonic Lodge #278 in 1974 and presented Rev. Clarnece Barnett a lifetime membership for 40 years continous membership in the Landrum Masonic Lodge. Rev. Barnett would visit the Landrum Lodge when had an occasion to be in the area.
