Joel graduated in May 1993 from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC with a BS in German Education and a minor in English. He taught for two years in a Christian High School in Palmer, Alaska. He now lives in Greer, SC and has worked for the BMW German Car Maufacturer since 1996. He is a Coatings Specialist and is responsible for new color introduction and pre-series color match on all models. He is also Global project leader for color match harmonization.

He is active in the Second Presbyterian Church in Greenville and serves as a elder and a deacon.

Alice has a BS in Elementary Education from Bob Jones Universityin 1993. She taught two years at Valley Christian School in Palmer,Alaska.
