OBITUARY FOR ELLEN HANSON
At age 74, Ellen died on August 15, 1983. Funeral services were held at Redeemed Baptist Church, conducted by Revs. Billy Walker, Jimmy Blackwell and Dub Stone. Pallbearers were Cecil Pace, J. E. Pace, Lonnie Pace, J. W. Henson, L. T. McCall and Blair Robertson. She was buried in the church cemetery (Dill book says Wilson Cemetery, near Greer; uncertain where this is). She was survived by her husband (Stoy), two daughters (Mary Jane Dill, of Landrum, and Mildred Dill, of the home), three sons (LeRoy Dill, of Greer, J. B. Dill, of Taylors, and Melton Dill, of Hilbert, Wisconsin), a brother (Guy), three sisters (Virginia, Beulah and Zealous) and eight grandchildren. Wood had the funeral arrangements. 2
